Thanks Marie, it was breezy day and at a couple points during our pro troop demonstration it was all I could do to hang on to the Stars and Stripes because it is one of those heavy duty Nylon flags that was designed to be an all weather flag. The US Navy flag I had is lighter weight and was flowing nicely with the light breezes we had most of the morning. Skye has video and a good story of this whole pro troop demonstration over at Midnight Blue I'm feelimg a little under the weather so check out the whole story at Skye's place.

It's been fun keeping up with your patriotic pilgrimage these past few weeks.

Thanks Tom, I didn't feel well enough last night to post all of my thoughts about Saturday that's why I directed my friends to go read Skye's blog because it is a great accounting of the event. I will visiting the denist in the morning.

Anyway, I went out to these anti war protests to show the troops that there are many of us at home that are behind them 100 percent no matter what the lies and distortions are put out at the left wing media outlets.

I want to write about 29 year old Navy Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy that was awarded the Medal of Honor today. I cried and saluted when I saw the President present the medal to the parents of LT Murphy. I can't do it justice though right now. It is the first Medal of Honor awarded since Vietnam. US Navy Seals!!!! those guys make me so proud to be an American and a US Navy veteran especially brave men like LT Michael P. Murphy.

Outstanding photo! God bless you and Michael Murphy! Curt at FA had done a few posts about him over the last couple of years, including a couple of recent ones.

You rock, Jennifer! I've done my share of counter-protesting in WDC. You are doing a good thing.

The leftists shall not have the public square to themselves.
