Remembering Pearl Harbor and the USS Oklahoma

My very good friend Marie of Marie's Two Cents has posted a story of the memorial for the Battleship USS Oklahoma BB-37 that was sunk at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The Oklahoma was the only battleship that was lost at Pearl Harbor that did not have it's own memorial. It was through the diligent work of some very tough and determined sailors that served aboard her that there is now a memorial. Go to Marie's and read about it. Thank you Marie for alerting us to this.

This is the history of the USS Oklahoma at one of my favorite sites.

God have mercy on the souls of those that lost their lives that day while serving our country. Thank you to all those that avenged the attack and defeated the tyrants that started the war.
